Our group of physicians consist of 10 obstetricians/gynecologists who are dedicated to quality care of our patients. Nine of the physicians are board certified All of us do general obstetrics and gynecology as well as high risk obstetrics, infertility, laparoscopy, colposcopy and hysteroscopy. .
We are a fully integrated practice of 10 obstetricians and gynecologists located at 4640 Ambassador Caffery. It is important to note that we have 2 call groups of physicians consisting of 5 physicians in 1 group and 4 in the other. This means that an obstetrical patient need rotate through 4 or 5 physcians rather than 9. Occasionally a physician from one call rotation may take call for the other team. Currently our approach to delivery is such that patients are delivered during the day by their primary physician and at night or week-ends by the physician on call. This of course is subject to that physician not being on vacation or off for the afternoon.
Our participation in managed care programs is fairly broad. Feel welcome to call our business office to determine if we are providers under your plan. We feel that we provide quality care, we are conservative in our indications for surgery and while most of our patients deliver with epidural anesthesia, we are supportive of those patients who want to deliver by the La Maze or Bradley methods of prepared childbirth. We have a new office with a courteous and helpful staff. It is our goal to remain on schedule so that our patients don't spend long periods of time in the waiting room or in the examining room. Confidentiallity is of prime importance to us and our staff has been chosen and trained to assure that.
Our hospital work is currently done at Columbia Women's and Children's Hospital. We are also on the consultation staff at Lafayette General Medical Center and have staff privileges at Surgery Center Inc.
